The artist

Laura Franco is an artist born in Palermo in 1977, where she took her first steps in the art world. She studied mosaic at the artistic high school of Monreale, honing a technique that combines tradition and the contemporary.

 

Throughout his life she has determinedly pursued his artistic passion, continuing to create and experiment even after moving to Tuscany, to Lucca. Here she found new inspirations by getting in touch with a group of painters, with whom she shared experiences and visions that further enriched his path.

 

Today Laura Franco teaches art to teenagers within a municipal course, transmitting not only technical skills, but also the love for artistic expression and creative freedom. She has participated in several exhibitions and competitions, carrying out a constantly evolving research.

 

She's style is characterised by constant experimentation, creating works from realism to contemporary abstract, exploring different techniques and materials, from oil on canvas to pastels and pencils. This versatility arises from the desire to continuously surpass herself and not to set expressive limits.
